As we believe we are stronger together, building a community and creating opportunities for islanders to get involved, make a difference and connect with others is fundamental to our organisation.
Volunteering Opportunities
Could you spare some time to make a difference? Whether it’s helping out at a fundraising event, sharing your skills or raising awareness, KA is always eager to welcome new volunteers. Stitch & Natter
You are invited to join this special community group. We meet once a month to make blankets that participants use in our group workshops. Each blanket is unique, made with a love and is a precious gift. Participants wrap themselves in the blankets to ‘seal in’ the good things they want to hold onto from the session. They become symbols of well-being and self-care for participants of our programmes.
We welcome all levels of proficiency from expert to complete beginner. Crochet, knit, sew squares together, create your own bespoke blanket or just come along for a natter, and learn a few basic skills from others.

Sip & Snip
Sip & Snip is a fun, social gathering that creates much needed resources for Kairos Arts. Together, we’ll sift through magazines, cutting out images that will spark imagination and healing in our group programmes.
Just bring a pair of scissors, and some magazines if you have them (we also have lots you can use). We’d love to see you!

Bring the positive impact of Kairos Arts into your home by hosting a Product Party.
