This website provides information pertaining to the Jersey charity Kairos Arts and its services. Kairos Arts is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This policy applies to all personal data collected by Kairos Arts under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018. This privacy notice will inform you as to how we look after your personal data.

The Information We Collect

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. We collect details from you when you request a product, service, volunteer or news from us from our website, emails, telephone conversations, and written and verbal communication. The nature of your query and information that you choose to disclose which is relevant to us providing you with access to our services and the fulfilment of our duties. 

We store only the data that we need, and we delete it when it’s no longer required. Unless otherwise stated, we don’t pass this data to anyone else. If you’d like more detail, you’re welcome to get in touch.

We store personal data on our volunteers so that we can run the company. This includes names and contact details, screening information, performance and health information; it also includes emergency contacts and next-of-kin information as provided to us by each volunteer. 

How We Make Your Information Secure

When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely. 
In the event of personal data breaches, we will report directly to Information Commissioner of Jersey within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, where feasible. In the case of a high-risk breach which affects may our services and donors, we will inform those individuals without undue delay.

We use up-to-date data storage and security techniques to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorised modification or unlawful destruction or accidental loss.
