Pathway to become a Therapeutic Arts Practitioner

We work with training provider Create Hope. They are currently providing a Level 3 for us - an entry Award in Creative and Play Counselling Skills for Children and Young People for our Kairos Arts staff and Islanders, which started in May and runs through to September 2025. This is an experiential and theory-based course and covers basic counselling skills.

The Level 3 course is the entry to the Level 6 - Advanced Diploma in Integrative Creative and Play Therapy which starts in January 2026.

If you already have a Level 3 qualification in counselling and experience working with children and young people, and you are interested in learning more about the Level 6 contact kate@kairosarts.org for more information.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Kairos Arts offer comprehensive CPD (Continuing Professional Development) opportunities, designed to empower professionals within schools and other organisations by introducing therapeutic arts to their skill set or enhance existing knowledge in this area.
